Delete Your Account
If Example App supports user accounts, users can request deletion through the process below. Adjust the flow if your app supports in-app deletion or additional verification steps.

- Acknowledged within 2 business days, with deletion typically completed within 30 days unless a longer period is required by law or security obligations.
How to request deletion
- 1Send an email to support@example.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request".
- 2Include the email address or account identifier associated with the account you want deleted.
- 3If needed, provide limited information so account ownership can be verified.
- 4Once verified, the deletion request will be processed and completion will be confirmed by email.
Important notes
- If you offer subscriptions, cancellation may need to be handled separately through the platform used for purchase.
- If the app does not currently support account creation, adapt this page to explain that no persistent account data is stored.
Data that may be deleted
- Account profile information and login credentials.
- User-generated content stored only for account operation.
- Preferences, settings, and in-app history linked directly to the account.
Data that may be retained
- Records that must be retained temporarily for legal, tax, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.
- Backup copies that remain until routine overwrite cycles are completed.
- De-identified or aggregated analytics that can no longer reasonably identify the user.
